Kenya Airforce was formed in 01 June 1964.
[cos98] and [whe86]
report the same roundel and fin flash as on this page.
However, while both and Album 2000.
report the fin flash as vertical stripes, the photo at this
page show it as horizontal stripes.
Government planes use national flag as fin flash as seen at this
site.

National colours in vertical pattern. Album 2000
shows the stripes "dexter-to-sinister" green-red-black with white fimbriations.
However, [cos98] clearly shows that the black
should come first, towards the plane front.

In both the Kenya Army and the Kenya Air Force, the Colours (ceremonial flag) of
regiments come in pairs: the Presidential Colour
and Regimental Colour.
The Air Force Colour, modelled after the Queen's Colour of the Royal Air Force is
a square, golden fringed, air force blue flag, presumably 3 feet 9 inches each
side, with the abovementioned Presidential Colour in the canton with the Air
Force badge in the centre, and the Air Force roundel in the lower fly.
